Position verification
Is the building positioned where it is supposed to be?
Position verification involves checking that a new building, extension or other structure has been positioned in accordance with the building permit and approved construction documents.
The actual position of the building is surveyed and compared with the approved documentation. Depending on the project and the requirements of the municipality, the verification may include position, dimensions and elevations.
The position verification therefore provides both the developer and the municipality with survey documentation showing how the completed or ongoing construction corresponds to the building permit.
